About Dominik Holzheu Piedra

Hi, I'm Dominik Holzheu Piedra. Growing up between cultures shaped how I see people, language and visual details—and it's still the lens I bring to everything I make. I'm interested in the small observations that reveal something larger: about a place, a behaviour, or the way we relate to brands and one another.
I'm a junior art director in Berlin, drawn to clear ideas and visual storytelling that feels considered without feeling overworked. I look for the one thought that holds everything together, then build with an editorial eye and a minimal instinct.
My path hasn't been linear—web design, hybrid creative roles and art direction in Munich and Berlin. Moving between disciplines taught me to think beyond single formats and stay involved from the first thought to the final frame.
Depending on what an idea needs, the work can become a campaign, identity, film, digital experience or physical object. The format can change; the goal stays the same: make the idea easy to understand and difficult to forget.
Outside advertising, I'm usually running, occasionally overdoing a workout, taking photographs or watching how light and shadow change a place. I feel most at home somewhere between a busy city, the mountains and the sea.
Right now, I'm looking for a junior art direction role in Berlin where ideas are challenged, craft matters and people learn from one another. I'm also open to freelance collaborations, personal projects and conversations with interesting people.
